I made a lace beading design for the May Etsy Bearweaver’s challange. The theme was “nautical” so i thought of sea and weaves and…Venus, the goddess. I made a masterpiece from a shell laced in different beads – sea colors – the shell from where the goddess is going to appear. The weaves of the sea are in a degrade range of blues. The foam around the shell is white and then deep in the sea the colors go from turquoise to light green to dark green and dark blue.
The lace is done around white beads of coral.
I was asked few days ago to design some bride accessories for her wedding.
Few month ago she bought one of my bracelet creation and wanted more thinner ones to have a set.
I created earrings and a hair net woven with silver wire and pearls

I designed a simple causal bright set using chain mail and coral beads.
The bracelet is full of beads hanging from the outside of the weave.
I found very decorative to embellish it with beads.
I like to use the simple weave of chain mail in a pyramidal shape.
This time I chose to use red coral beads matches with red leather for the pendant.
The earrings are smaller but in the same design.
Enjoy looking or buying them.

I tried out something new: right angle weave using byzantine chain mail technique.

I filled the squares with beautiful ocean color clay beads.
The lace s chain mail in a flower technique.

This month at Etsy Beadweaver’s challenge is a new theme: Only seed beads.

My entry for this conquest is a tapestry.
Inspired by Charles Rennie Mackintosh flowers style i woven with beads a large and decorative tapestry.
I hope you enjoy it and vote my entry in the challenge or buy it on my Etsy shop
I am found of lace. The granny style of working the threads amaze me but I am not able to get the technique. But as I like the feeling and the look I try to use in my beaded work.
I give the lace aspect beading around a base and adding many layers and embellishment.
The fragile aspect of petals is underlined by the small beads kept in curved shapes.
Adding bicons in a flowers design give an extra gentle and feminine aspect.

The petals embellishment uses faceted crystal in aurora boreal shine.
The laces are woven in an alternative stitch: Russian spiral and herringbone.
I mixed the lace colors to keep a balance between the pendant and the upper part of the Jewelry. The beaded toggle is a nice finishing for the piece creating an entire beaded work.

Bello Modo shop proposed a challenge based on the Oscar Awards‘s dresses. Each designer can list a jewelry suitable for one of the dresses from the party. My option was Penelope Cruise’s dress. Grey and elegant. I created a dark red necklace, mother pearls flat cabochons encased in a chevron technique.

I bought o bag full of jumper rings. small round metal pieces. I put them on my working mat. It looked like a plumber’s kit. I added my flat pliers. At that point, nothing was talking about jewelry. I organized the jumper rings on the mat designing a pattern. First thought: “Let’s weave them” Second one ” A repetitive design”. The third :”How?” I created a fan shape of multiple rows woven in a basic style. Increasing the number of the jumper rings at each row I shaped the fan. Here you are what I got. A gothic option for an accessory. But for more feminine accent? I chose embellishment. I wove some pearl drop along the edges and I was pleased to accomplished a totally new bracelet. Enjoy!
