This necklace is created in a tapestry way of working mixing the beadwork with bead embroidery and metallic thread embroidery. I used the golden plated beads in a pearl embroidery style creating branches in the focal of the piece. I beaded and attached Rivoli crystals as flowers.
The crown of the queen is gold thread embroidery embellished with beaded pink jade cabochons. the tail of the owl i henna colour metallic thread embellished with beaded pink jade cabochons. the “wings” are embroidered in risen bead embroidery style creating the puffy touch of “flesh”. the lace is beaded with sees beads and the toogle is a Rivoli beaded flower. the backside of the necklace is dark red felt, soft and nice to wear. Dimension: 45-48cm x 14-16cm.
Unique tapestry style!
I designed this pendant using different techniques of working the wire: coiling, shaping, weaving, wrapping and decorating with metal elements.
I made it in a harp shape embellished with beads reminding of the music sounds at each movement of the body. The pendant is light and its dimensions are 11×14 cm. The chain is included. I used only copper material for this pendant.
I design this mandala shape flower thinking to the beautiful tiles of mozaic in Sevilla. The brooch is worked in thread and bead embroidery techniques using also the golden work and stump work embroidery techniques for interior petals an border.
In a stumpwork embroidery style I decorated the beadwork work with coiled wire making accents and interesting points.
I tatted with dark red wool the edges to approach the crewel style of the embroidery.
The laces are tatted to making the necklace adjustable. It remembers me of carnival of Venice
Dimension: 15x 12 cmThis necklace uses several nuances of pink, dark red and purple, golden and topaz, but you can order your favourite.
This necklace took 12-14 working days.
I was counting beads and knots all the previous day trying to create a tatting design. I took a break and i made this simple but “autumnish” and warm pendant. Using amber colour beads and silk golden thread i tatted the inside part of the leaf. I used green cotton thread for the edges and the lace.
Dimension: 3x6cm, Adjustable lace.
I started this design around a Venice glass in a leaf shape. I started drawing spirals linked to its case. AS i was working i decorated each spiral in a different way and shape it in a sophisticated amphora. The wire weaving is done using simple coiling around one wire or around 2 linked wires creating a new design band. One of the bands are decorated with metal beads.
I let the wire down when i felt i finish the pendant. it has n amphora shape for the Cala lilt flowers from the focal.
I used silver plated wire and beads and a large Venice glass bead (2.5 x 5cm).
Dimension of the pendant: 19x 14 cm. Light.
