5 years ago i started my Jewellery business.

Blue-woven-snails-necklace-th

First i worked beaded and bead tapestries woven on loom. I created my own patterns and designs for earrings, necklaces an bracelets or nice Home designs hangings.

I enlarged my skills in wire weaving and wrapping developing “cold” collection in silver and bras wire.

My last year work was “embellished” with embroidery and gold embroidery.

Spiral-embroidered-collar-th

I am very found of these techniques as they are a very rich and elegant look.

As additional techniques  I enjoy tatting and kumihito touches to create a unique effect on the piece I design.

I nice addition for a wire work is a chainmail detail.

Unfortunately, after 5 years i am not in position of enjoying many clients.

I need a lot of time to manage my on line shop, to make photos of my work and to promote it. i find hard to split myself in order to have enough time for working and to promote.

Phoenix

I think it is a good idea to look for a collaboration. i am looking for an agent, for a person interested in selling jewellery, in promoting items for a specific, personalised target.

I tried selling in real shops but the commercial addition was more than 150% for the shop and obviously nobody was interested to pay so much.

Roses-embrace-tapestry

I tried an integrated internet promoting but the feedback was poor.

I feel a real person is more adequate to feel , love and talk about real products.

If you are interested or have any ideas in order to help my in my quest you are more than welcome to reply to my post.

share your experience and success to let me too to follow your good steps.

have a beautiful day!

Sea God Necklace

In the summer time I am filled with images of sea waves and shells on the warm sand.

These feelings stimulate my creativity and so I created this Sea God design.

I used shells and Swarovski Crystals encased in embroidery.

The spirals and crowded waves alternate with simple embroidery creating “breathing spaces”.This necklace is worn around the neck as a collar, the toggle is silver plated and the inside is neutral felt, soft and nice on the skin.

I worked on it for two week more than eight hours per day, but I hope you enjoy the result as much as I do.

38 hours work.

Materials used: shells and Swarovski Crystals, Miyuki seed beads, silver plated toggle, felt for backside.

NOTE: Order to make it for you.

Green Embroidered Mandala Hairpin

The shadows and the lights, the unknown and the mystery made me thinking of playing with only one element in my working: only with same color and kind of beads. The way i laid down or sewed together created the impression of dark and light, of truth and mystery. i designed these sashes (curved lines and rectangular) starting from a main circle. I added around many layers of circles in order to increase the design. On each side i added part of circles adjacent to the main circle.
The Hairpin is composed by the embroidery and the metal hairpin.
You can order the same design in different other colors!

Materials used: seed beads

Working time: 7 hours

Wire woven spiral and leather bracelet

Dimension 6 x 18 cm

Material used: bras and golden plated wire, natural leather

Working time: 13 hours

From traditional to modern weaving

I am fond of textile and I like digging  deep in the past to understand where from the technique and design came.

One of the most ancient ways of working the threads is weaving it using different kind of looms.

There are carpets and fabrics woven in thin or thick threads used for domestic necessity or decoration reason.

Nowadays, in the country side the old ladies still work their rugs and carpets, even their weddings veils using the loom.

Still the jewelry domain embraced this “tool” and used it to create astonishing designs for jewelry.

I am proud to be the owner of a medium size Mirrix loom.

It is a vertical loom enveloped after the tapestry looms. I work on it my jewelry, especially my necklaces and purses and I enjoy very much both techniques with or without beads.

Here you are some of my tapestries woven using woolen threads and seed beads, following my original designs.

The patterns are available in my shop at Tutorials and patterns

Green embroidered maze sash

I created this embroidered sash for March challenge from Etsy Beadweavers Team. The theme was “Destination”.
I took it symbolic imaging a spiritual path of a maze. The maze symbolistic is well known so I embrace it happily. You start from one side of the maze looking for the right path, twisting and going round thus in the end to exit the opposite side, full of knowledge and experience. In my design the correct path is underlined using larger beads sown in a different way than the wrong path or the green bushes. I used my favorite shape of spiral and color of green Miyuki seed beads for the bushes walls, the sandy Miyuki seed beads are used to create the false paths and the golden large seed beads show the right path. The embroidery is designed to be worn as a sash. It is attached on a width free silk ribbon. It is possible to be worn at a wedding, or a similar special event. It comes over the waist and is knotted in the back in a bow or a simple nice knot.
Dimension: 16 x 13 cm. 16 hours work.

Materials used: Miyuki seed beads, silk ribbon
