I design this mandala shape flower thinking to the beautiful tiles of mozaic in Sevilla. The brooch is worked in thread and bead embroidery techniques using also the golden work and stump work embroidery techniques for interior petals an border.
In a stumpwork embroidery style I decorated the beadwork work with coiled wire making accents and interesting points.
I tatted with dark red wool the edges to approach the crewel style of the embroidery.
The laces are tatted to making the necklace adjustable. It remembers me of carnival of Venice
Dimension: 15x 12 cmThis necklace uses several nuances of pink, dark red and purple, golden and topaz, but you can order your favourite.
This necklace took 12-14 working days.
I beaded Swarovski crystals in a 3 dimensional heart shape. I braided the golden wires of the pendant and I decorated them with Swarovski crystals and golden Bohemia pearls to create a nicer and elegant look of the jewellery. This pendant could be a love declaration present or simply a “welcome spring” smile. I hope you enjoy it.
Materials: Swarovski crystals and Bohemia pearls, artistic wire
Here you are my first thread embroidery, sewed in classic embroidered way. It was on the border with Miyukiseed beads.
China blossom theme inspired me and I chose to welcome this spring with this elegant and feminine brooch.
I hope you enjoy it.
I was counting beads and knots all the previous day trying to create a tatting design. I took a break and i made this simple but “autumnish” and warm pendant. Using amber colour beads and silk golden thread i tatted the inside part of the leaf. I used green cotton thread for the edges and the lace.
Dimension: 3x6cm, Adjustable lace.
THIS IS A PATTERN ONLY. This pattern teaches how to create a woven necklace using beads, thread and a loom in order to get this design. It is required some experience in weaving on the loom as the weaving is not cover the entire row in all the rows. This design is original so please give credit to the author when you sell or show it in public. The finishing requires experience in hiding the threads. The mount of the weft and the taking off the work from the loom are not covered in this pattern.
I created this embroidered sash for March challenge from Etsy Beadweavers Team. The theme was “Destination”.
I took it symbolic imaging a spiritual path of a maze. The maze symbolistic is well known so I embrace it happily. You start from one side of the maze looking for the right path, twisting and going round thus in the end to exit the opposite side, full of knowledge and experience. In my design the correct path is underlined using larger beads sown in a different way than the wrong path or the green bushes. I used my favorite shape of spiral and color of green Miyuki seed beads for the bushes walls, the sandy Miyuki seed beads are used to create the false paths and the golden large seed beads show the right path. The embroidery is designed to be worn as a sash. It is attached on a width free silk ribbon. It is possible to be worn at a wedding, or a similar special event. It comes over the waist and is knotted in the back in a bow or a simple nice knot.
Dimension: 16 x 13 cm. 16 hours work.
