Crystal Heart

I beaded Swarovski crystals in a 3 dimensional heart shape. I braided the golden wires of the pendant and I decorated them with Swarovski crystals and golden Bohemia pearls  to create a nicer and elegant look of the jewellery. This pendant could be a love declaration present or simply a “welcome spring” smile. I hope you enjoy it.

Materials: Swarovski crystals and Bohemia pearls, artistic wire

Sea God Necklace

In the summer time I am filled with images of sea waves and shells on the warm sand.

These feelings stimulate my creativity and so I created this Sea God design.

I used shells and Swarovski Crystals encased in embroidery.

The spirals and crowded waves alternate with simple embroidery creating “breathing spaces”.This necklace is worn around the neck as a collar, the toggle is silver plated and the inside is neutral felt, soft and nice on the skin.

I worked on it for two week more than eight hours per day, but I hope you enjoy the result as much as I do.

38 hours work.

Materials used: shells and Swarovski Crystals, Miyuki seed beads, silver plated toggle, felt for backside.

NOTE: Order to make it for you.

Wedding time with pearls and silver

I was asked few days ago to design some bride accessories for her wedding.

Few month ago she bought one of my bracelet creation and wanted more thinner ones to have a set.

I created earrings and a hair net woven with silver wire and pearls

Embroidered bracelet tutorial

IS0392This lesson shows how to develop an embroidered cuff bracelet. I want to teach you how to sketch your design, how to follow the design you created and how to choose your colors.

The techniques I teach you help to bead around a cabochon, to sew following a sketch, to mount the embroidered fabric on bras and how to finish it.

Medusa necklace

Oscar Awards are gone but they inspired my designs. This one was created after the Penelope Cruise’s grey elegant dress.I designed an asymmetrical necklace with cabochons. I positioned the cabochons in my drawing  interlocking with beaded “pipes” full of pearls. The necklace catches the neck and values the cleavage underlining the simple elegance of the dress and catching the eyes.
The glamour of the necklace is given by the design and especially by the shinning and elegant mother pearls
I created a “Medusa” necklace beaded with Miyuki seed beads and mother pearl flat beads and pearls.
The Medusa body  is tentacled and the flat mother pearls are cabochon encased using the chevron style.
The “lace” is beaded with round mother pearls, in a chevron variation technique. The upper side of the laces are beaded also in a chevron style and grey organza is woven in.
21 hours work

Materials used: mother pearls round, flat cabochons, Miyuki seeds, organza

Chainmail fan style bracelet

ICS0024_1
ICS0025This lesson shows how to develop chain mail bracelet in a zigzag fan shape.

I show you how to embellish the finished work in order to add an extra color.
Let’s start!

this lesson is a technique lesson so you can use it in your projects, but you are not allowed to mass produce the lesson.

One step at a time

First Jewelry work I sowme much I believed I never be able to realise any.

I start learning about stitches, techniques, tools and materials.

There were an entire new world opened to me.

So vast and beautiful that sometimes made me feel small and ” pupil”.

I understood that feeling overcome by the complexity of the masterpieces make you no good at all.

For a time I was deep in my ” learning study” escaping any other influences to delay me in my “school journey”.

By school I meant my books, my computer with YouTube movies and tutorials and my work.

I practiced simple stitches, I understood how to link together simple steps to achieve a more complex work.

Most I had the happiness of realising my designs.

It is easy to draw a sketch but difficult to create it in the technique you desire.

Every comprehension comes on time after hours of practice as in any other ” journey for perfection”.

It is a mutual teaching – learning process when the work let you know if you are right or you are wrong, how to solve any creative problem. In the working process can understand and learn most of the meaning of the art.
